Sharmaine was 10 years old when she was operated on in DLSMC for PDA Device Closure on October 15, 2020.  She was diagnosed with PDA when she was 6.  She is currently in Grade VI. Her mother said, Sharmaine is now active and no longer sickly compared to before.  The father (38) works as a construction worker while her mother (30) is jobless. Sharmaine has 3 other siblings.
